Episode: 4. How to build media presence in other countries
When considering expanding your music career to foreign markets, it’s important to do your research and understand the specific tastes and trends of each region. For example, British rock bands may not be as popular in Germany as they are in the UK, while American-sounding bands may fare better. It can also be helpful to look at the success of bands that inspire you in different markets. Keep in mind that expanding to new markets can be a long and expensive process, and it’s important to realistically assess your resources and willingness to put in the time and effort required. Ultimately, it may make the most sense to start with a strong potential partner in a specific region who is committed to investing in and supporting your success.
