Music filled the air as our EEMA students embarked on an exhilarating journey at MMB 2023, Romania's largest international music business conference. 🎶
The first day at MMB was a whirlwind of insightful workshops and one-on-one sessions with industry experts. Our talented students eagerly soaked up knowledge, forging connections that will shape their careers. The excitement is palpable, and we’re just getting started!
🎤💥 Beyond the thrilling workshops and panels at MMB, our EEMA alumni experienced something truly exceptional. They came together for a closed EEMA alumni meeting designed to elevate their careers in the music industry.
During this interactive session, seasoned music pros spilled the beans on how to shine during showcases. Alumni walked away with newfound confidence in their stage presence and performance, armed with insider tips that can make all the difference under those bright lights.
Members dove into the essential skill of crafting the perfect “elevator pitch.” Each alumnus had the opportunity to present their MMB goals to the group, fostering a supportive atmosphere for growth and networking. It was a session that empowered our alumni to communicate their aspirations effectively in the industry.
Our alumni received expert guidance on approaching showcase festivals. Carina Sava (Mastering the Music Business, Romania), Katarina Thalerova (Lala Slovak Music Export), and Peter Åstedt (Future Echoes Festival, Sweden) shared their invaluable insights. These experts provided a roadmap for navigating showcase festivals, ensuring our alumni make the most of these exciting opportunities.
These sessions were moderated by the highly accomplished Marianna Tanska (MEU), adding a layer of expertise to the discussions.

Incredible panel discussions at MMB emphasized the importance of music business education. Aspiring musicians, managers, and entrepreneurs learned how to thrive in the fiercely competitive music industry. Special thanks to our moderator Ilinca Ghisoiu and insightful panelists – Karol Przychodzen, Ruslana Kruchek, Corina Vilcu, Marianna Tanska, and Diana Dadonova.
Our students had insightful 1:1 sessions with industry experts, forging valuable connections to serve them well in their careers.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our partners Music Export Ukraine, RAW Music, and LALA Slovak Music Export for their unwavering support.
