The history of the Eastern European Music Academy began in 2020. The independent initiative Music Export Ukraine in partnership with the Lithuanian artist management company and label MONOKEY, gathered and united 50 students from 8 Eastern European countries to study and write music together for 3 months. It was the birth of an educational and networking project to connect the entire Eastern European region. It has become essential for musicians and their managers who want to overcome the crisis of the live industry by plunging into the possibilities of earning money in the music business in modern realities.
As a result, after graduating from the Academy, the students gained invaluable cooperation experience with colleagues from the Eastern European region, became experts in writing music and building promotional strategies, and successfully created connections for further prospective cooperation with many experts and specialists.
Therefore, on November 30, the full-fledged Eastern European Music Academy’s Compilation 2020 was released, consisting of 5 tracks:
Ferko, Rostany, Vic Villian – “End Is Near”
Monika Bhola, Andru Namaste – “ZARA SA”
